WITTMAN BATTENFELD's MacroPower 400 - 1600 t, a hydraulic injection molding machine, is a MacroPower unit, since it has the shortest footprint and speed, with ultimate precision and cleanliness. Its modular design is a fit for various applications. It has fast, energy-saving movements due to the linear guide systems of the moving platen. It has a clean mold space, with maximum precision in mold protection.

The unit attains its high speed through fast movements with minimal locking and high-pressure build-up times. This is helped along by QUICKLOCK, an innovative locking system developed by WITTMAN BATTENFELD. There is ease when molds are inserted from the rear of the machine. This is an added feature of this new machine generation. It also has an extended safety gate stroke at the back, joined with tie-bars kept below average length, caused by the locking system that has been integrated in the moving platen. This allows insertion of bulky molds without a tie-bar pulling device.
