profile extrusion extruder / single-screw

The cooling extruder is a machine manufactured by KraussMaffei Berstorff. It's application is to cool the propellent-fed of sheey and profile foams from a temperature of 200 down to 120C. In the process of melting of homogenization it ensures high shear stress by limiting the melt temparture to 250C.

The cooling extruder is designed to meet demands of high quality and melt temperatures, requiring effective and reliable melt cooling where the extruder must be maintained.

In addition, wtih the use of barrel and wet sleeves, it porvides a high heat dissipation with a great cost-effectiveness. Having a cooling capacity made from pressurized water, wet sleeves, and an optimized screw profile to reach a temperature level up to 110 kW/m? ?K.
