Thin wall steel and aluminium components can easily be cut using this without the formation of burrs or heat and a clean cut is produced using blades tipped with carbide. The equipment modelled KM14SC is a 14" Dry Cut Mitre Saw for the cutting of steel. It works at a speed of 1300rpm and a 1" arbor is employed. It runs on a dual V-belt and dual camlock vices and has sealed ball bearings for durability. During the cutting process theOSHA safety guard is pulled back. 4.5" can be cut at 90? and 4"x3.5" can be cut at 45?. It is built out of cast iron and can be switched over manually. It is a 26"x24"x5-" construction and weighs 450lbs.
