The IsoMet? 4000, manufactured by Buehler, is a precision saw equipped with a manual blade positioning knob for set up acceleration. It has a blade speed that ranges from 200 up to 5000 rpm, maximum wafering blade diameter of 8 inches, and flow rate of 0.7 gal/min. The equipment is designed to cut materials with minimal specimen deformation.
