Kuhnke's Ventura FIO Drive Controller Stepper is a controller which links machine control with drive control through the EtherCAT.

Since it is built with a high torque, the instrument eliminates the need for any gear transmission. It follows the system design of the Kuhnke Ventura FIO product range. As it is a part of the modular Ventura FIO system, it offers capabilities to realize custom-designed I/O and drive configurations. Enhanced interference resistance results from its drives and sensors and needs only short wiring. Energy is saved due to the controller's closed loop sinusoidal commutation. Constant monitoring of the actual current flow allows accurate real-time adjustment of the power.

The controller is designed for applications ranging from simple positioning and belt control to complex multi-axis machine control.
