iMD 10/20/30 range of drive controllers are designed to be used as cost-efficient final stages, in conjunction with DC motors (model iMD10), EC servomotors (model iMD20) or dual-phase step motors (model iMD30). A high-tech digital version, the iMD40 provides efficient and cost-saving final stage duties for 2 kW EC servomotors that are synchronous torque or linear motors.

The drive controllers are conducive to installing in cabinets. The units are engineered such that they can easily be adapted to a gamut of applications, primary among them being automation systems and CNC machines. The controllers are provided with a competent, easy-to-use software package that allows the units to be programmed as desired, depending on applications and requirements.

The devices can be synchronized with diverse user interface options to enable compatibility with trademarked applications. Special emphasis is laid on the CAN open interface protocol. The interface CANopen DS402 enables an array of excellent functions such as speed regulation, synchronous point-to-point positioning (S-PTP), efficient monitoring with Continuous Path- CP function and synced applications across multiple axes.
