The PSD series of driven linear actuators is available in two sizes 80 and 120 mm (PSD80 and PSD120). The 80 mm version features stainless steel lead screw in a range of screw pitches, while the 120 mm version features a precision ball screw. Both PSD models and PDU2 belt driven model use the Hepco Herculane? linear guidance technology. These models use hihg performance wheels and are well suited for use as single and multi-axis units, and represent an excellent solution for all Z-axis applications. The aluminum beam, with stainless steel cover strip (spanning the full length of the unit) houses the screw drive and linear motion guide. These actuators represent a cost effective alternative and are available in lengths of up to 2,850 mm (6,000 mm for slave units). The models can be supplied in the format of pen, closed, double acting or slave units, per customer request.
