Pull and push forces are both allowed for use in the Enerpac hollow plunger cylinders. For fast retraction, a double-acting cylinder version is available. Over-pressurization is prevented due to the presence of a relief valve. The device's baked enamel finish provides excellent corrosion resistance.

Simple fixing is provided by the collar threads on all but the RRH-1001 and RRH-1508 models. These cylinders are nickel-plated and come with a floating center tube that increases product life.
