rotary actuator / pneumatic / double-acting / compact

The PSE4 pneumatic rotary-linear-actuator by Eckart is a blend of a double action linear cylinder and a rotary actuator. Therefore with the PHSE, a rotary motion and a linear motion can be initiated in a rather compact space. Considering the rotary actuator and the linear cylinder are powered pneumatically independently, all movement sequences can be chosen to include rotaring to the right and left, linearly retracting and elongating, etc.

If both parts are powered evenly, then both types of motion will be initiated concurrently. For the goal of consecutive driving, the piton tip positions at the linear cylinder and at the rotary actuator are capable of being scanned with the help of electronic end position acknowledgement techniques.
