The VD-3 series is manufactured by EBM-Papst. It is an electronically commutated DC electric motor with ranges from 3 W to 110 W and nominal voltage of 24 V. It is also a 3-phase, 6-pulse external rotor motor with 4-pole, plastic-enclosed ferrite magnet. The VD-3 series employs 3 hall sensors for rotor position detection.
