The 48r-cg series is a unit manufactured by Pacesetter company. It is a 5-stage insulation system developed to meet NEMA MG 1-1993, Section IV, Part 31. It has a dual-Voltage of 230/460VAC, 60Hz, 3-phase rating for operation with a wide range of inverter products. It is applicable when the face mount is standard on which the base mount is optional.
In addition, it has an industrial lip type seals on motor and output shafts and a needle bearings throughout for increased radial load capacity and long life. The unit is also permanently lubricated on its gearing utilizing semi-fluid grease for long life and it is a selectively hardened steel helical gearing used for quietness and high output to size ratio.
