The unit is an insert bearing that is made of ceramic, ad is suitable for use in applications with severe environments, high temperatures, and are subjected to corrosive media, water, and sea water. These applications includes cryopumps, medical equipment, semiconductors, machine tools, turbine flow meters, food processing unit, robotics and optics. It needs minimal lubrication, and has a long service life. It also has thermal characteristics which results to lesser heat generation at high speeds.


The unit has the capacity to operate with a temperature of up to 1,800 ?F. There is an option to integrate the model with a retainer made of PEEk or PTFE. The unit can be mounted on shafts without requiring any shoulder or adapters. The model is fixed with the use of setscrews or a locking collar.
