The AL38xx Linear Servomotor is an ironless core device introduced by Beckhoff. It has a 2.7 m/s (N type) or 6.6 m/s (S type) maximum velocity with a maintenance-free drive, without abrasion for dirt less room operations.

It offers protection from cogging that is caused by the strong magnetic attraction among permanent magnets and iron core. AL38xx is the most ideal in situations where there is highly synchronous operation and positioning quality involved in semiconductor and plasma/LCD panel manufacturing.

It's a device that features an exceptional rigid, backlash-free coupling of load and motor with a paramount precision via high control loop. Also, it offers high performance through low inductance and lighter weighted coil part. The AL38xx Linear Servomotor has an immense force quality with a straight forward, quick force production that disables position overshoot.
