The NOVADEM S3 (NS3) is a soft starter unit designed for the controlling of all starting, stopping and protection aspects found in 3 phase squirrel cage motors of up to 1200 kW at 690 V. This a high performance digital starter that provides users with a quick programming interface through use of a pre-configured application macros, and the NS3 is fitted with a RS232 serial link used to communicate with either a PC or a network.

The device consists of a user-friendly display and keyboard interface, which permits the quick programming of all applications through use of the macro-programming, a RS232 serial link for PC or network connectivity, and a power software used to program and maintain the device with the need of a consistent operating manual.
