The Pick-to-tote is manufactured by Ssi Schaefer, and is a conveying and picking system that is ideal for use in picking up slow-moving materials such as C parts. The system has zero error quotas, and has the capacity to pick materials into the order containers and cartons at a pick rate lesser than or equal to 1,000 picks per hour. It also has the capacity to arrange and adjust the materials in the container.

The Pick-to-tote consists of standardized parts from the range of modules also from Ssi Schaefer which guarantees that that picking process has a dependable operation. It features the ergonomics concept ergonomics@work!?, which is a grab sequence from upper portion to lower portion which minimizes the workload. The contact surfaces are made from wood and has a cover made of metal.
