The RAYCON Bulk X-ray product sorting system detects contaminants at high line speeds which is due to density, chemical composition, or mechanical dimensions. It absorbs X-radiation, which has a greater degree than the surrounding bulk product. It features a precision sorting software that identifies the contaminant with pinpoint accuracy and ensures that there is always minimal product wastage when the reject operates.

The unit has a high precision reject system, which is either 20 multi-flap or 80 air jet nozzles to suit the application. The unit can also detect contaminants that are missed by optical sorters. Some of its advantages include low energy source, easy installation and set up, and fast scanning which ensures optimum throughput. The unit also complies to the local radiation safety requirements.
