In some processes, the precision requirements are so extreme that injection-molded component holders are required. Injection molding may be the only production method that makes sense, because of undercuts and supporting struts.

These component holders are cost-effective solutions when it comes to volume-driven projects, particularly when compared to vacuum forming.
