Beverage plants which yield a high variety of products know it only too well: the line availability shrinks each time there is a type change-over. And even higher costs are added due to extra working time, product losses and surplus materials. But does it have to be this way? The answer is no! For there is a clever method which allows a wide variety of container types to be included in a stable, projectable and economic production process.

Using the Krones LineXpress L, the line can be automatically changed over to run a new beverage, as well as new preform and cap colours and this in a record time of ten to fifteen minutes. How does it work? Through continuous communication between the beverage processing system, the blow moulder and filler. This way the line not only achieves record times, but can also handle its products and materials with precision.
