ADC freight elevators have been developed and made fully in-house. They are suitable for easy movement of loads between two levels within premises. Personnel access to the platform is allowed only during loading and unloading. When staff is on-board, no hoisting is allowed. The elevators are in compliance with the machinery directive 98/37/EC and EN 1570 P82 260 standards.

Standard delivery includes several useful features. The platform has a safety frame attached to it. For vertical platform movement, the elevators have platfrom guides. They include a mechanism for locking the platform when in elevated position. Platform doors feature electric locks for access control. At every level, there is an emergency stop button. There are by-pass valves underneath the cylinders. They also have hydraulic charge limitation.

Also available on request is a safety perimeter in wire mesh or sheet iron with access doors remaining at the platform position.
