The Sofraser vibrating rod is the culmination of thirty years of extensive research, development and valuable experience in the engineering products industry. The vibrating rod is geared to provide instantaneous measurements of temperature and viscosity in a compact and lightweight assembly. The sensor is lighter than 3 kg, yet ruggedly built. It provides accurate and dependable measuring performances, with virtually zero wear-and-tear and thus zero maintenance.

The vibrating sensor is extremely easy to install and use, being operable in unlimited positions. The sensor is suitable for OEM integration and comprising customized components. It can efficiently evaluate viscosity in the range of 1 - 100 cP to 100 - 10,000 cp, with higher ranges available if required. It can work at maximum operating temperatures of 180?C and operating pressures of 40 bars.

The sensor is structured from 316L Stainless steel or with choice of optionally available materials. It is available with a selection of various outputs that can be incorporated as per requirement such as RS 485, RS 232, 4-20 mA or display unit.

The vibrating rod is perfectly qualified for use in industries such as printing and ink, petroleum, food and beverages, fuel oil combustion regulation and chemical industries.
