The compact Lab 120 for axial probe equipment is available in frequencies up to 35 kHz and for a power up to 120W. The choice of the ultrasonic probe determines its performances. The ultrasonic liquid processor is used immersed in an Eppendorf. The useful volume is from 1 ml to 50 ml. The ultrasonic power is focused at the end of the probe which is the useful zone. To treat a more important volume, a continuous flow cell can be associated to the probe. The product staying time in the cell and the power density are important parameters for the success of the process in question. The Lab 120 is particularly used in medical, biological or chemical laboratories.
