TG-GC-MS coupling for evolved gas analysis (EGA)
GC-MS Coupling
Vnation JSC

TG-GC-MS coupling manufactured by Netzsch is used for evolved gas analysis (EGA). It is a high-resolution procedure for separating volatile, and semi-volatile compounds. In this device, the gas mixtures are segregated according to the differences of component distribution between stationary phase, and mobile phase. The tool develops direct coupling in a quasi continuous mode through a heated automatic valves that permit the software-operated gas sampling. This device also uses the Proteus? software for continuous running of the GC-MS, with periodic injection of the sample gas, and for the event-controlled run at selectable thresholds. This equipment is applicable for volatile products emitted during combustion processes, and highly sensitive GC-MS gas detection and identification. It also allows enhanced analysis of additives, stabilizers, and residual solvents in food, pharmaceuticals, and polymer.
