The IMR 1600 is a classic compact device for use in heating systems, burner service and the chimney sweep trade. All accessories can be accommodated in the spacious carrying case.
The IMR 1600 is optionally available with Bluetooth Blue View? remote control.
The IMR 1600 is performance-tested and approved by the Federal Office of Metrology (METAS) in Switzerland.
The IMR 1600 meets the requirements of DIN EN 50379-2. A number of technical improvements implemented in the IMR 1600, facilitate the daily work of the the user.
Moisture monitoring in the gas path: A humidity sensor monitors the moisture content in the gas path of the analyzed sample gases. With increasing moisture concentration in the gas path, the user is informed by a recurring notice on the display. At the end of the measurement, the meter should be rinsed with dry ambient air until the message disappears from the display. Thereby avoiding that in the course of a working day, moisture is accumulated in the gas path. Device failures due to moisture in the gas path are excluded.
Sensor Temperature control: When turning on the IMR 1600, a temperature sensor measures the temperature in the measuring chamber. At temperatures below +10 ? C, a heater in the measuring chamber is switched on, which heats the measuring chamber during the calibration preiod. The aim is to quickly adapt the characteristic temperature of the gas-carrying components with the temperature of the sample gases. As a result, moisture build-up within the sensor shcamber it is reliably prevented.
