A contra-rotating impact mill with 2 rotors designed to pulverize soft to semi-hard materials that is constructed by gearing the picoplex? with another driven pin disc. Its concept is similar with that of Alpine's Contraplex impact mill C product line and it creates 10?m to 500?m high powder fineness value.

The feed material is reduced to minute particles after it is administered into the center of two contra-rotating pin discs that collide with the grinding pins.The contra-rotating discs then performs rigorous breaking of the particles after which the material advances into the mill housing before exiting by gravity. The rotation produces an air flow and afterwards, the product is extracted in a filter.
