The Infrared Analyzer HC-404 is a self-contained unit with fixed wavelength. It has been designed for rapid accurate analysis of total petroleum hydrocarbons in water, sludge and soil samples. The analyzer has a fixed wavelength of 2930 cm-1 and allows for quick analysis eliminating unnecessary scanning. Because of its small foot print the analyzer requires minimum space in a laboratory. It accommodates 10,50, or 100 mm quartz cells for analysis to 1 ppm or lower detection levels. The built-in scale expansion and extended linear range are good for high concentration and a simple 3-step calibration is used. The analyzer has the best detection levels and excellent instrument stability.
