BMG Labtech's Atmospheric Control Unit is designed for optimal cell control. The device is suitable for use in increasing throughput in cell-based applications, from standard cell growth to hypoxic assays or pH control. The tool offers an updated environmental control, independently regulating O2 and CO2 gas levels within the read chamber. Upon equilibration, minimal gas consumption is ensured by the valve control.

In addition, provides a versatile ?walk away? solution for long term cell-based assays through the combined temperature control, shaking options and bottom reading detection. This Atmospheric Control Unit has a calibrated electrochemical sensor for O2 concentration monitoring. The instrument can also be used in different areas of applications such as for cell viability, cell proliferation, cell migration or invasion and hypoxia.
