The Synergy 2 is manufactured by BioTek Instruments GmbH. It is a multi-detection microplate reader with 5 detection modes, and is designed for biological research and drug discovery markets. The 5 detection modes of the Synergy 2 include fluorescence intensity, fluorescence polarization, time-resolved fluorescence, luminescence and UV-visible absorbance. The Synergy 2 employs a powerful combination of monochromator, filters and dichroic mirrors that provide quality level of performance.

The Synergy 2 is controlled by BioTek's new Gen5? Reader Control and Data Analysis Software. It is also compatible with Take3 Micro-Volume Plate.
