external trigger box for OEM spectrometers
AvaTrigger
Vnation JSC

AvaSpec-USB2 spectrometer is available in a compact design now. The device enables optical and manual methods of external triggering. The optical trigger is used for measuring pulsed light sources, such as solar simulations. The device takes less than 1.5 microseconds to start integrating after receiving the signal from the AvaTrigger. If spectral output needs to be measured against time for temporal stability then a time delay may be set.
AvaSpec-USB2 spectrometer comes with an SMA-905 connector for easy connectivity with any accessory or light source from Avantes extensive line-up. It comes with a potentiometer at the front for adjusting the sensitivity of the optotrigger. A short pulse is shown by a green indicator LED on the front panel when a TTL pulse is sent to the spectrometer. The device also comes with a IC-DB26-2 interface cable required to connect with Avantes spectrometer.
