As sodium is one of the most important parameters which needs to be measured on a boiler plant, ion-selective electrodes (ISEs) are exceptionally useful tools. Operating in the same manner as pH electrodes, sodium ISEs are used to measure sodium ions rather than hydrogen.
The Sodium Electrode 1048 utilizes the special formulation belonging to ABB of glass sensitive to sodium. With the sensitivity required to measure down to parts per billion levels, rapid measurements over vast ranges of concentration can be made with electrode and appropriate silver/silver chloride reference electrode.
The Sodium Electrode 1048 is easy to use and offers high sensitivity with a fast and accurate response.
