The CoroPlex SL from SANDVIK is a multi-functional tool specifically used for grooving, threading, parting, and turning operations. Its compact design is a combination of different tools such as the Coromant Capto? tool adaptor, CoroPlex? SL mini-turret adaptor, and four cutting heads and blades.

By combining the parts, it reduces tool changing time as well as saving tool pockets in the tool magazine. The tools can also incorporate the CoroThread? and CoroCut? to increase its capability for threading and grooving operations. To optimize its versatility, CoroPlex SL mini-turret adaptors are made in both axial, and radial series.
