The GEM 8 Series of Precision Tapping Unit, manufactured by Otto Suhner AG, is designed with a lead screw assembly which is permanently lubricated in an oil bath. Its simple installation is given through its four screws at the front of the device.

Moreover, the provided front and rear stroke adjustments are built with two screws at the rear motor enclosure.
