Machine Design:
- Heavily ribbed MEEHANITE machine frame with low center of gravity
- A major focus during development of this machine was a space-saving design
- The Lupus M Series features linear guides on X, Y and Z axes for maximum accuracy, which also results in reduced friction and increased dynamics

Spindle:
- Direct-drive BBT30 spindles ensure a secure hold of the clamped tool inside the spindle
- Two spindle options with speeds up to 10,000 rpm or 15,000 rpm for optimum machine customization to meet individual production requirements

Tool changer:
- 14-station or rather 24-station tool changer
- A dual-arm gripper is mounted close to the spindle for even shorter changing times (Lupus M 400CD)
