CNC boring mill / horizontal / 4-axis / traveling-column

Machine type IDRM180 is a boring and milling machine with moving column with column movement parallel to the X axis (Floor-Type). All the machine movements are realized on high-rigidity hydrostatic guideways. Thanks to the wide range of column beds and installed powers, this machine is used in two main cases:

Machining of workpieces of considerable size when it is equipped with sliding and rotary table; this allows an immediate reduction of the setup times;
Possibility to create independent working zones (islands). In this pendulum mode, the movement of the column allows the machining of several workpieces and the simultaneously setup of other workpieces.

Furthermore, there is the possibility to equip the machine with an automatic tool changer and a pallet changer. The wide range of special accessories increase the flexibility and versatility of the machine for all customer requirements.
