The WATROD tubular heaters are available in double-ended or single-ended termination styles. Thanks to the versatility of Watlow?s tubular heating element, these heaters can be used in virtually the entire range of air heating and immersion processes.

With the single-ended version, the design features both terminals at one end; the other end is sealed. The 12" flexible lead wires are connected to the terminal pin via crimps, and have over-sleeves made of silicon-impregnated fiberglass.

As for the double-ended tubular heaters, they are highly adaptable for bending, thanks to their round cross sectional geometrical design. The double-ended MULTICOIL elements from WATLOW offer a variety of resistor coil and thermocouples combinations inside a single sheath. They are also capable of sensing the internal temperature of the heater, consistently and accurately.
