The wet blasting process is utilized for surface improvement, cleaning, stripping, pre-coating preparation, deburring, shot peening, and removal of contaminants. The surfaces primed by the wet process show positive results as far as physical and chemical cleanliness is concerned. This treatment is suitable for fine, precision machined components.

This machine produces no dust and is capable of utilizing ultra fine abrasives. It has minimized atomisation due to the water film; this is particularly ideal for shot peening that uses glass beads. Inclusions on soft metal are significantly decreased because of the water's cleaning effect.
