The KAA 1300 Dickstoff model, manufactured by Krautzberger, is an automatic spray gun specifically engineered for the automatic coating of surface that uses highly-viscous media. This gun can also be utilized for processing abrasive coating materials at operating temperatures below 5 MPa / 50 bar. In addition, it can be generated solely via the material pressure that ejects the material through a nozzle.

After having exited the nozzle, the spray jet transforms to the shape dictated by the nozzle. The jet is directed at the workpiece, whereas the effective spray fan is not as wide as theoretically possible. Furthermore, the particles of the spray jet is able to achieve higher speeds than with compressed air-driven spray guns.

The maximum material pressure of this instrument is at 200 bar / 20 MPa.
