fiberglass-sheathed heating tape / for pipe heat tracing

The HT9 flass fiber heating tape is a flexible heater which is designed for heating columns, pipes, valves and transfer lines. It measures 25 mm in width.

With this type of heater, the operation can proceed with minimal monitoring. The model can be used on metal pipes, as well as on glassware. An element which is wound on a glass fiber core is also included in the tape. This is covered in a braided glass fiber outer sheath, under which is a braided earth wire.

The model comes in various lengths to match various temperatures that can go up to 450 ?C. An energy or temperature controller is recommended for use with the equipment. It can be used in dry conditions only.
