The 5-Muffle Pull-Though Industrial Furnace Plant from Ruhstrat is an electrically heated furnace hardening plant which has a rated furnace temperature of 1230 ?C. Its protective gas consists of nonflammable gases like nitrogen or argon.

The plant is suitable for continuous hardening and tempering of CrNi band steel. It works with an automatic operation, with a PLC controller managing and regulating the procedures. A control panel is mounted on the plant for the visualization of the settings and easier control. Relevant data that were gathered can be stored on a separate PC for further evaluations.

The device can be employed for heat treatment of steel bands, bimetal saw bands, industrial blades, razor blades, scalpels, which are made of the corresponding kinds of steel.
