The HSSD is a unit manufactured by Holroyd Components. It is a drum heater intended for the heating of products contained on the drums. It has a simple fixing arrangement via a hook and spring provides swift and easy insulation and it has an as advised that power to the drum heater be disconnected when the drum is either empty or being filled, or upon installation or removal of the heater itself.
