The Xdot digital printing system in this product series comes with corresponding Braille print heads and can apply the tactile Braille letters to the Marburg Medium font, according to the specifications of the DIN EN 15823 standard on various substrates, which include cardboard, plastic films and paper.
Users do not require a stamping tool or a screen for the application of a special UV varnish, which will harden by means of a UV dryer and become a tactile font sample. The print head comes with six reliable working nozzles, each able to apply two lines of Braille in the printing direction, at a speed that can reach 50m/min. There are multiple print heads that can be applied to 16 lines at the same time.
