SPECO made these PA-type Archimedean Water Screw Pumps for the first time in 1978 and they are still popular today. These have a 3.5 meter diameter and are 23 meters long, and more than 30 tons in weight.

A 500kW drive can power such a unit. This is a design that has become big as waste water needs have to be facilitated in many parts of the world. The demand for these products is great and today, Roncuzzi are helping to get all of these units supplied to different entities for a variety of needs around the world.
