Flexible hoses made from natural rubber or PVC are widely used in laboratories. VACUUBRAND provides exceptional hoses made of anti-static PTFE with small flanges of 1.4305 stainless steel.
The PTFE tubing is almost smooth-walled on the inside providing high conductance and a minimal surface area keeping condensates from accumulating such as they do in corrugated hoses.

The anti-static PTFE has superior resistance to chemicals and anti-static properties of <107Ohm resistance between the inside and flanges to avoid electrostatic charging. The stainless steel bellows and corrugated hoses with TIG-welded small flanges are made to meet high demands in terms of out-gassing and cleanliness. The metallic hoses are made of 1.4541 stainless steel, and vacuum annealed.
