The MDQ Series is a range of Multi-Disc Screw-Press Dehydrators from Tsurumi. Its cylinder is integrated with a screw shaft and is made of numerous fixed and movable discs that are placed alternately. The dehydrator is impervious to clogging because the movable discs movement is influenced by the outer periphery contact of the rotating screw.

The series can be used for low concentration sludge of about 0.5% and for oil sludge. It can also be functional for excess sludge made from different types of waste water treatment methods. The MDQ also has energy saving capacities and is operated by small-sized motors. Furthermore, the dehydrator operates with little noise and eliminates vibration problems
