The BDV can switch to left, right or both sided operation using a handle and when the seals are modified the it can also be used as a fuel oil filter.
Features

Element backwashing (cleaning) can be done by using the duplex filter change handle.
The vertical piping can be changed to the horizontal piping by using optional oil pan.
The non-woven, single layer construction notch wire material makes for easy cleaning when clogged.
