The BSW Self Cleaning Gravity Strainer is a product used to remove fiber from water and get fresher water.

Impure water can be filtered by feeding it into a tangential inlet connected to an outer strainer housing, which is placed above a chamber. The water collected in the chamber is then allowed to pass through a filter screen incorporated in an internal vessel. The unwanted solids get blocked by the screen and the procedure cleans up the fluid. The clean water is then let out and collected.

There are two spray bars that keep revolving and spray water continuously. The sprayed water flushes away the waste left on the strainer to unique collection chamber which is then removed through the reject line. In this way, the BSW automatically cleans itself continuously.
