Piusi presents bio-fuel filters and filter for fuel and oil.

Bio-fuel filters are cartridge, water absorbing and water separating filters. The delivered filter is a water absorbing cartridge. The filters use dispensed diesel and thus assure basic motor protection. Any water content in the pumped diesel is systematically separated and absorbed by the filter. However, water absorption gradually lowers filtration capacity. As a result, it leads to greater head loss. Therefore replacement of waterlogged filters is recommended. The filters have a filtering capacity of 30 ?m and flow rates between 70 and 150 l/min. They provide operating pressure of 3.5 bar and bursting pressure of 10 bar.

The filter for fuel and oil is a cartridge filter. Both the suction and flowback sides of hydraulic or lubricating systems allow use of line filters featuring SPIN-ON cartridges. They can be provided with 3/4 and 1 fittings. The filtering capacity is 10 ?m and filtering operating pressure is maximum 12 bar.
