The purpose of water separators is for the protection of coalescing compact air filters from the contamination of bulk liquid. In such situations there will be an extreme cooling of the distribution piping and air receivers. This product, the Parker domnick hunter water separator filter, mechanically separates more than 92% of the liquid contamination from the compressed air. This is applicable for all types of flow conditions.
