Extensive amounts of high and low pressure air are typically used in large PET bottle production. Yet the Ingersoll Rand primary booster system offers a modular approach to this problem. Our device comes with a booster augmented primary compressor which can be either an oil-free rotary or centrifugal compressor as needed. A two-stage, non-lubricated reciprocating compressor makes system adjustments easy in order to meet demand changes. Modular expansion is provided for as the circuits can be independently added to the larger system.

An efficient method of providing low-pressure, oil-free air for plants is to use an oversized primary compress. Freeze-ups are reduced and dry air provided using the standard low pressure dryer on these machines.
