The IBA Metal Hose is an approved hose that is suitable for all gases in accordance with the DVGW worksheet G260. It is designed as having either an annular corrugation or normal corrugation. Additional design modification of the hose is that it can either be a single wall or a medium-walled. The hose material is composed of stain steel 1.4404 and 1 braiding of 1.4301. It is conforms to DIN EN ISO 10380 standard. It can hold a minimum temperature of -200 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 550 degrees Celsius but the said temperatures only applies to the hose.
