Gates' new TuffCoat? hydraulic coupling coating is extremely resistant to corrosion resistance and offers greater protection than leading competitors. When tested under ISO 9227 and ASTMB117 salt-spray conditions the TuffCoat? was able to withstand 400 hours of testing, which equals a 400-plus percentage increase on the ISO 96-hour standard utilized by most coupling manufactures. This results in a highly efficient device that is extremely economical thanks to its long lasting design.
